When it comes to photography I spend more money on books than on gear. Books never become obsolete or lose value. They are as good years later as when you first opened them.
Photo books are in a class of their own, it’s where time disappears and creativity blossoms. I recently purchased a Rodney smith book and I don’t think I’ve filled more pages with ideas and lost more hours than I did while reading and looking
Buy Books, Not Gear-- I second that, Marcel! Like you, I visit bookstores when I travel and zone right in on the photography/design section. I have a collection at home and the shelves are bursting! Whenever I'm looking for inspiration, it's nice to be able to pull it out and look through them.

It's the best.
I love the book „on listening to trees“.
The prints looks amazing!
Those two books (and the print) are absolute gems. So delighted to have them.
I recently bought Vanfleteren's Atelier, couldn't not buy it after flipping through it.
Have that book also, like almost all his books. A true master.
