I have found it difficult to shoot the streets without a viewfinder. I really can't see the details in the screen when there is any level of bright light outside. Obviously you don't have that issue. Is there something anout the Ricoh that makes the screen easier to view, or if this just my own quirky problem!
Hi Marc, looks like you had a small peak in my drafts, as I already planned a newsletter on viewfinder vs. screen. Haha. Had the same discussion last week and though I always enjoyed a viewfinder, I prefer a screen nowadays to compose my image. I look at the details upfront so I only need to make sure everything I want is in the frame. My screen is set to high contrast black and white so hardly any details visible.
Thanks for sharing, Derek
I feel the exact same way about my RicohGRIII. 2 months later and I am obsessed!

Mark with a K that is, sorry.
High contrast black and white. Hmmm. I need to see how that works. Thx!
