Great photos, Marcel. Ireland is high on my list of must-visit places. But I'm nervous about the driver's seat being on the right side of the car. It might spoil the entire vacation.
I love it that you did the unconventional by shooting Ireland in black and white but clearly, it worked! Those are very beautiful images! My favorite is of the lone sheep. I have Ireland on my top 5 list along with Wales and Scotland. I love to know how you felt about the driving in Ireland especially. Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks Juliette. As for driving on the 'wrong' side, I experienced it both in England and Scotland with my own car and in Ireland with a rental (automatic of course). It's easier riding in a right seated car. Takes 5 minutes to get used to it. Definitely worth the visit.
Lovely. I almost feel as if I've been there. I have been many many years ago but not to that part of the country. Seeing it in black and white is especially appealing. And probably more memorable than in color.
Tough question as I liked Killarney National Park and Kinsale in the south, but also Achill Island in the north west. Next time I will drive the Wild Atlantic Way as it is so different from our beach & dunes coast in the Netherlands.
So much natural beauty in Ireland. Thanks for sharing your views!
Glad to see you've got some sheep in there.
I love the title of your post! Ireland and Scotland are places I really want to visit. Nice set of images Marcel.

Thanks Alex. No need to be nervous. It takes five minutes to get used to it. Just hire an automatic car and you'll be fine.

Thank you Marian.
My homeland :) A beautiful reminder
If you are over again check out the causeway coast … had home base there for 7 years https://bimbleswithacamera.myportfolio.com/the-coast
Marvelous photography. Thanks for the tip. Need to see & ride that someday
I need to go back to Ireland. It has been 27 years already. It is also the time I discovered photography for the first time…
So that sparked your interest. Great memory and you should really go back and photograph some more
Beautiful photos, Marcel. Ireland is on my bucket list of places to visit.
