Which photo was untaken and why did you not take it?

I remember in 2022 on a photowalk with some friends we participated in a documentary photography contest and we went out to take photos of everything that caught our attention. At one point along the route I found a truly great scene and I prepared to photograph, I was walking. with a telephoto lens and a woman was sitting with her child, her face had a lost look, desperation was evident, the child was crying, clearly from my distance I could not know what was happening when I was ready to photograph the passing of a bus that It stopped at my angle of vision, preventing me from taking it.
