I've been noticing something exciting lately—photography newsletters on Substack are becoming vibrant spaces for collaboration. More and more visual storytellers are teaming up, creating joint issues, interviewing each other, and even coordinating group photo walks that they later document in their newsletters.

While many of you are reading this directly in your inbox (as most of my readers do), these collaborations are flourishing both in email form and through the Substack app, where communities can more easily discover each other's work.

This trend fills me with genuine excitement. I've long been an advocate for photographers joining forces—whether for creative cross-pollination, audience growth, or simply the joy of creating alongside a kindred spirit. There's something powerful that happens when photographers step out of isolation and begin working together.
