The end is near. The year 2023 is almost over. An eventful year in which a lot has happened, both globally and personally. A year that shall be quickly forgotten. In my opinion, more negative things happened, the absolute low point being the death of my father. But this feeling about 2023 is also due to the fact that people tend to remember the negative things rather than the positive ones. Positive things, especially if you live in a developed part of the world, are taken for granted. Perhaps I am rambling a bit now because of all the reflections that usually occur around Christmas and the end of the year.
Now I don't want to start naming all the great things you normally cover in a final edition of the year, but let's end these days and this year on a positive note, as this is the last newsletter of the year.
Start with a bang
Next year we will start with a bang. On the 2nd of January I will be publishing the second issue of Darkrooms Magazine. A magazine that I will be putting the finishing touches to over the next few days. A magazine that I am incredibly proud of. This initiative has been one of my highlights of the past year. Without wishing to spoil the first issue, I think the projects featured in this second issue have once again raised the bar for the next one.
If you haven't read the first issue, you can read it for free (forever) or support me for the price of a cup of coffee and download it.
Let’s finish with wishing you all a good Christmas with family, some nice days to reflect on this year and a wonderful start of 2024.
That’s it for this week.
Till next time,
