I originally planned the release of Darkrooms Magazine Photostack edition in the beginning of March.
Sometimes however, things do not always work out the way you have planned.
The last few weeks I have been very busy, both at work as with fun things like celebrating our wedding anniversary in Antwerp, Belgium (some photos in last week’s newsletter Antwerp, a photo essay) or last weekend in Terschelling with friends.
I have therefore had to change the publication date of the magazine. It will now be published on a 'normal' quarterly basis. The only difference is that there will not be 10 or 11 photographers showing their photo projects, but - as of now - 21. And we haven't reached the deadline yet, so if you have a photography-related substack, please take part in this special issue of Darkrooms Magazine.
Wondering: What is Darkrooms Magazine?
If you want to join this Photostack edition, submit your project
Interested? Fill in the application form where you’ll find more information on this edition. You have until 18 March.
Terschelling, Wadden Islands stole my heart many years ago
To add a little visual element to this newsletter, I am sharing some of the photos I took with my mobile phone in Terschelling. As the weekend was planned to be spent with our friends, I did not want to take my Ricoh with me, even though it fits in my pocket.
And finally a video impression of ‘Wadlopen’ (Tidal flat walking on the Wadden Islands) when the tide is low.
That’s it for this week.
Till next time,
