Help shape the future of Darkrooms
Darkrooms is evolving, and I need your help figuring out where it goes next. Your voice, Darkrooms’ future
The quarterly magazine is taking a pause. PhotoTalk now has its Sunday slot alongside Tuesday’s main newsletter. This creates space to refocus, but I don’t want to guess what matters most to you. I’d rather ask.
That’s where you come in.
I’ve put together a short survey (5 minutes, anonymous) asking what you value in Darkrooms, what you’d like to see more of and how the current rhythm works for you. Your answers directly shape the editorial direction, what topics I cover, how often, and in what format.
I’m asking because my time is finite. I want to spend it creating what you actually want to read, not what I assume you want. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just subscribed last week, your perspective matters.
What I’m asking:
How do you feel about current segments (essays, interviews, photo discussions)?
What topics or formats would you like to see?
How does the weekly rhythm work for you?
What you get: A Darkrooms that’s more aligned with your interests. I’ll share survey insights and upcoming changes in a couple weeks, complete transparency about what I’m hearing and what’s shifting.
The survey stays open for 10 days. It takes less time than reading this newsletter.
Thank you for being part of this community. Darkrooms exists because you show up every week, and I want to make sure what lands in your inbox is worth that attention.
Let’s build what comes next together.
Till next time,
